Westminster at Lake Ridge is a premier Continuing Care Retirement Community serving older adults in three levels of service: Independent Living, Assisted Living and a Health Center. Our team of roughly 270 total employees serves a population of over 400 total residents on 62 acres that back up to the Occoquan reservoir.

We are currently seeking an energetic and motivated Human Resources Associate to complete our HR Team.  This is a part time position that requires on site work 3 days a week, generally from Mondays through Wednesdays.  This is a customer service oriented position that requires a high level of attention to detail, multi-tasking, time management and organizational skills.

The HR Associate will be responsible for: 

  • Onboarding new hires scheduling pre-employment screenings, new hire orientation and training.
  • Compliance support - contacting employees and obtaining necessary documents, ensuring employees are up to date with necessary information such as licenses and tests.
  • HR support - responds to employee questions and requests for assistance in a timely manner.
  • Administrative duties such as filing, data entry, etc.

Qualifications:

  • A GED or a high school diploma. Bachelor's degree or additional education is preferred.
  • At least one (1) year of relevant experience as administrative support in an office setting.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to establish rapport with all levels of staff throughout the organization.
  • Must be able to handle confidential and or sensitive information.
  • Proficient computer skills.
