Westminster at Lake Ridge is a premier Continuing Care Retirement Community serving older adults in three levels of service: Independent Living, Assisted Living and a Health Center. Our team of roughly 270 total employees serves a population of over 400 total residents on 62 acres that back up to the Occoquan reservoir.

This Social Worker position is primarily responsible for providing psychosocial needs and support services to residents in the Independent Living community. Additional duties include acute interventions and case work services, as well as educational and preventative outreach activities for our community members.

QUALIFICATIONS

Graduate Degree in Social Work from an accredited university, with at least five (5) years of Social Work experience, and one (1) to three (3) years of long term care services experience required; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be licensed to practice, or be working toward licensure and eligible for membership, in the National Association of Social Workers. Must be proficient in the operation of computer applications and general office equipment; possess high-quality verbal and written communication ability, strong interpersonal skills, and be knowledgeable of long term care practices.
