Westminster at Lake Ridge is a premier Retirement Community serving older adults in three levels of service: Independent Living, Assisted Living and a Health Center. Our team of roughly 250 total employees serves a population of over 300 total residents on 62 acres that back up to the Occoquan reservoir.

This is a great opportunity to join a mission-oriented organization and engaged leadership team that strives to make a difference in the lives of others.  We are currently seeking a full time Training and Data Supervisor to join our team.

This position is primarily responsible for supervising the staff and activities of the Main Reception Desk as well as coordinating the training for the Resident Services team.  This position also assists in the orientation and transition of new residents to our community as well as data from our customer service surveys.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Acts as a leader of reception desk positions, ensuring productivity, efficiency and accuracy in work performed.
  2. Establishes shift schedule for the reception desk, coordinating coverage for any vacancies.
  3. Approves timesheets for the front desk team, ensuring times are accurate and submitted in a timely manner for payroll processing. 
  4. Serves as the central coordinator for customer service training, investigation, surveying and data collection for the Resident Services department.
  5. Investigates any customer service concerns related to the department.
  6. Works with the Department Director and managers to develop, distribute and collect customer satisfactions survey data regularly.
  7. Creates and updates the resident welcome notebook and sponsor packet; ensuring each new resident receives up to date information upon move-in.
  8. Ensures residents receive badges, storage bins and parking passes as needed, maintaining an accurate tracking system.
  9. Submits all payable invoices for the department to the finance team in a timely manner, ensuring all vendor accounts are up to date.
  10. Maintains professional presence when representing Westminster at Lake Ridge; exhibiting a degree of professionalism consistent with Westminster's standards in performance, behavior, and appearance.
  11. Encourages and demonstrates professional development in assigned responsibilities and displays competency in all skills required in the role.
  12. Complies with Westminster at Lake Ridge's established safety rules and practices.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School diploma or GED. 
  • At least 1 year experience in a customer service role in an office setting.
  • At least 1 year exprience in a supervisory role in an office setting.
  • Possess high-quality verbal and written communication ability.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Must be proficient in the operation of fax and copy machines and familiar with computer applications such as Microsoft Office, Outlook and internet search techniques.
  • The ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects with limited direction.
  • Physical requirements to include the ability to stand and walk for long periods of time and exert up to 25 lbs. of force to push, pull, lift, and otherwise move objects.
